One of my favorite websites out there is Etsy.com. Many people know about this special little place, but for those of you who don't...
It's full of homemade goodness...clothing, crafts, artwork, seeds, everything. Recently, I've loved these charming little necklaces:


I have two of them and they seem to go with everything (although that could be because I wear a frightening amount of brown...and pink...)

This is an excellent resource if you're looking for an odd gift, are decorating a special room, or just want something extra for yourself. Plus, you can buy from local artists (do a search for Indiana Artists on the site!). *sigh*

Welcome

After blogging for a couple years on Livejournal and then MySpace, I've decided to venture into the world of the public Internet. *whew* Big step.

I have time at work. Time to manage this blog, so I hope that whoever runs across it enjoys.

What to expect:

Funny stories about my child that are, in some way, linked to the grander scheme of things.
Recipes and experiments in baking. Complete with pictures, when I remember to take them.
Crafts adventures. Also complete with pictures. Sometimes.
Probably some rants and raves about things that I find significant in my life and yours.
